Attention: Kindle Fire - IPad - Laptop Owners, etc.

Found the coolest thing on the web! The website is www.gelaskins.com. I LOVE stuff like this to decorate your electronic devices. You can get them for Kindle and laptops and Iphones and Ipads and Ipods, etc. They are what they say they are....gel skins of artwork to decorate. You can just put them on and then peel them off and change out with no residue. I got one for Mom's Kindle Fire, it is Monet's "Artist's Garden at Giverny". All you have to do is go to the website....choose your device and start shopping. We are going to order some for our laptops too. I KNOW this is totally not a necessary thing to have in your life but it sure makes me happy and would make a great gift!! A gift for yourself...just because...or for your family and friends! Thank You Frontera

So last year we got sick of buying hanging baskets for the deck. We have so much direct sun and heat that we gave up because no amount of watering could save them. We visited Frontera down the road from us and picked up iron flowers. Popped them in a pot with rubber mulch and voila! Perfect flowers that don't die and don't need watering and the hummingbirds are still attracted. This one on the deck is about my height....5' 3"....yep...I am a giant!



This year we decided to do the same thing in the front. We have the same problem there with the heat and sun so we got this one from Frontera and again voila! No more watering and no dead flowers and no money down the drain...





And I would like to thank my camera and my dogs for showing exactly how much dog snot is on our storm door. They really are cute dogs and you would know that if you could SEE them! For the love....going for the Windex!

Clock

Had this awesome clock over the kitchen door for years and years. It was a plate with 3D vegetables as the numbers. It had a second hand that was very useful for cooking. Didn't realize how much we looked at the clock until it died at 8:30 one night. Put new batteries in and nada. So the search was on for a new clock to go over the door. I am not saying we love our dogs or anything but.......

Magic

So I am not a huge fan of magicians....I find them kind of annoying. BUT I will say this 15 year old kid owned me....the sarcasm and the tricks were good and not to mention NPH introduced him....worth watching:

Lightning Flowers

So I seem to find some crazy stuff on the internet and I have now found "lightning flowers". This is something that happens to some people who have been struck by lightning. A “lightning flower” is a Lichtenberg Figure — or electric discharge pattern — that occurs on the skin of lightning strike victims, most likely as a result of small capillaries bursting from the intensity of the bolt’s current. I found this on the Epic What website and wow....good thing...these are not forever...they do go away...

I Have Done This

I did this with the puppies but it was only about 6-8 balls.....this much better!

My Dogs Love Going to the Vet

Ever since they were puppies, I have tried to make going to the vet the most exciting thing ever. They get to ride in the caaaarrrrr and go have a baaaath and have a spaaaaa day! If you do it in a sing song voice and exaggerate every word....they sure get fired up! Even if they are sick or something is wonky, they still are good going into the vet's office.....they are good babies. I saw this picture and I was so grateful they are like that because this would break my heart if they were this freaked out. This is the cutest dog in the world and I don't know what kind he is but bless his heart!

Dolphin Pod

These people were out whale watching and they are saying they ran into a 2,000 strong pod of dolphins racing the boat....how cool would that be to see?!!! This was in Dana Point, CA.....

Awwww...Grunge Rocker Goes Soft

Found this today.....Cris Cornell from Soundgarden did a tribute to Whitney Houston....it is kind of amazing to have the grunge rocker go soft with just his guitar and sing "I Will Always Love You". He did a great job! I kind of miss grunge...anyway....sweet..

Happy Valentine's Day x 100

Found this on the Daily What website....very sweet! People stopped on the street to say "I Love You" in their native tongue....this gives me a happy!

Cell Phone Shelf?

I don't know what else to call it but I LOVE it! My co-worker got one from her sister and I had to have not one but three! I have one for my Mom, one for me at the house and one for the office. There is only one plug I can get to at the office to recharge my phone and it is in the walking path from the back of the office to the front. I always worry that someone is going to step on my phone by accident because it sits on the floor but NO MORE! I have a shelf!! I found these on Amazon and they are like $4 bucks.....totally worth it! Love just getting the phone off the floor or counter or wherever you have to charge....

Love This Dad!

Maybe this is extreme.....maybe not. I kind of like this Dad putting his foot down and this is sooooooo worth watching until the END! There are some bad words in the video so you are warned...would love to know your thoughts on this as parents. I am not a parent so I can't say what I would do but I think he made his point to the extreme!
