The Beach

Went to the beach for 4 days for Thanksgiving. It was fun with my aunt and cousins and Grandma! We have been doing this for many years but for the first time ever there was FOG! It was the weirdest thing I have ever seen. We were in the condo and I was looking at the horizon and it looked spooky. There were families on the beach playing in the water and getting some sun. Then all the sudden this fog rolled in. These pics are at 2 in the afternoon....I tried to take some pictures later as it got thicker but the camera couldn't pick up anything....there was a time that we couldn't even see the ocean or beach....

Christmas Decorating

This year we wanted to try and keep it a little more simple. With the puppies being young, they still run and chase and go crazy. We were going to try and put up the tree this year but it could turn into a handle for the kids and didn't want them running into it or it getting in their eyes as they are running and turning it over so.....we came up with this to put in the window. Allows plenty of space but we still have lights and it is cute! Thanks Costco!


I am going to rethink the stool he is standing on....need to wrap it with something but he is cute! Merry Christmas!

Daisy

So she made it through surgery. It has been a long week. Got her staples out yesterday....all 18 of them. She has her spark back but she has a little more healing to do in the bladder area. God forbid her getting excited....there's a tee-tee on the floor. Gone through many towels and carpet cleaner. She does great overnight but if she gets a little wonky, she will tee-tee. Please pray for patience....I am so glad she is here and alive.....just want her bladder back to full control....she is getting there and it is not a problem to clean up after her!

Pray for Daisy May TONIGHT

I don't know who reads this blog, but if you are, please pray for my Daisy May tonight. Had to rush her to the emergency vet tonight. She was pee'ing blood and then she wasn't pee'ing at all. According to the xray, she has a bladder full of stones and an enlarged spleen. They are doing emergency surgery on her tonight. Still waiting to hear and I know she is "just" a dog for those who don't get it, but she is our family and her sister LulaBelle would be heartbroken without her......please just shoot one prayer out for our girl! This is an older pic and yes she has a leaf on her face....but she just doesn't know it....

Daisy May so needs this

My delicate flower Daisy May hates getting wet....where can we find this? Of course that means I am out there soaking wet but the precious is dry......I don't see it as a fail!

Maru OWNS me!! Maru makes me want to own a cat and only own the cat that is Maru. He/She is from Japan....this owner keeps Maru so entertained and keeps us entertained.....discovered Maru at www.icanhascheezburger.com website.....the love this cat has with boxes is awesome!

Florence and the Machine

They are my new fave band! Love "The Dog Days Are Over"! It just fires me up and when it comes on...I pretty much have the same reaction as this baby! Dancing and clapping in the car and looking like an idiot (that would be me, not the baby)! LOVE this song!!!

Sorry for the bad words

I know this post has some bad words (fbombs) in it but it is done in an English accent (which I kinda forgive because of the accent) and I have had the same frustations with a printer to the point you want to throw it out the ding dang window...so please forgive me for post with bad words...but this sure cracked me up....

Rethinking the Honda

This makes me want a Bug.....

You see my co-worker's car. It looks like your ordinary Bug....but you would be so wrong. Granted from this angle...ordinary:


Then you come around to the front of the car and see her beautiful car lashes! It just makes her so stinkin' cute!!!


And then you look up close and notice her beautiful "diamond" eyeliner. It just makes 'em pop!


Yep...the Honda can't pull that off but a Bug sure can!

Baby Watermelons on Sticks

Yeah....bad, bad dog owner. We pushed the limit between spa days for the girls AND have not been good about brushing. You look at them with the fur on their chests and legs and they look beautiful....you think everything is cool and then you get the call from the groomer....they are too knotted up to be properly groomed...they must be shaved. You go through regret and guilt because you did not brush them and then the realization that they will be the laughing stock of the neighborhood because they look like baby watermelons on sticks.

Seriously...what the heck? I had no idea that their legs were sticks. How in the world do they function and run and jump????? These things they call legs should just snap off at the first movement!!! AND did the groomer have to shave their chests THAT much??????? It wasn't that bad!! But now looking at the picture...you know how parrots pluck their feathers out or how chickens look plucked....yeah....my girls look plucked!

BUT on a good note....it will be Christmas before they have to be groomed again! Saving money to the embarrassment of the dogs! Always look on the bright side!


BTW....they did get extra treats tonight....we have to somehow make up for the shaving!

Squishy

So one of my best friends had a baby 5 weeks ago. Got to meet him this weekend and he is super cute!!! Nickname is Squishy....this name was bestowed upon him by his aunt and I like it!

These guys are awesome....not to give up on a blind dog but to teach and let the dog learn...this one makes me happy!

Spontaneity

Our house is across the street from one hole on the golf course in our neighborhood. Took the girls out tonight and one of the ginormous sprinklers was going off on the green. There are actually 5 that usually go off in the morning but this one was random. Creates a huge spray of water.....so what is a girl to do.....fully clothed with 2 schnauzers......go run through it over and over!!! It was great! The kids were running and pouncing and having a ball and so was I. We got back to the house soaking wet and it was a hoot!!!
